Baby pak choi stir-fry


Serves: 2 people

  • 2 heads Baby Green Pak Choi
  • 1 bunch Chives | minced
  • 2 cloves garlic | sliced
  • 1 thumb ginger | minced
  • 8 shiitake mushrooms | sliced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1-2 red chillies | sliced



  1. Heat a wok on a high heat for 2-3 mins. Add 3 tbsp oil, garlic and ginger. Sauté for max 10-20 secs.
  2. Add mushrooms and fry for 1 min, then add pak choi, chives and 1 tbsp sugar. Stir fry for 30 secs.
  3. Pour soy sauce and cook for another 30 secs, then add 120ml water and sauté for a final 30 secs.
  4. Serve on a deep plate with a side of jasmine rice, top with chillies, and dig in!


Keep your leaves fresh in 2cm (1 inch) of water and plenty of light.
